INTENDED USE:
​The EDX HSV-1 Verification Panel is a standard for various molecular assays. The EDX HSV-1 Verification Panel is used to establish points of reference (qualitative and quantitative) that are used in the determination of values in the measurement of Herpes Simplex Virus-1 DNA, “HSV-1”.  The EDX HSV-1 Verification Panel allows operators to test the entire process of a molecular assay and train operators.

The EDX HSV-1 Verification Panel is reported in Copies per milliliter (cp/mL).  The verification panel members are developed using heat inactivated Herpes simplex virus-1 DNA. The EDX HSV-1 Verification Panel is formulated in a Synthetic CSF Matrix.
